The capacity of the arena at Alexandra Palace will be higher than ever for January’s Johnstone’s Paint Masters, based on record ticket sales in recent years.

The arena this time will have an extra 198 seats, bringing the total capacity to 2217.

The 2025 Johnstone’s Paint Masters, snooker’s biggest invitation event, will run from January 12 to 19 in London, featuring the world’s top 16 players.

These extra seats will be on sale from 10am Monday (December 2nd) so previously sold-out sessions will have availability, but are sure to be snapped up fast. Tickets for the event start at just £32 – for all details click here.

There are also amazing Century Club and VIP Sofa packages available for a bucket-list experience or a unique Christmas gift for anyone who loves sport.

Tom Rowell, WST's Chief Marketing and Communications Officer, said: “Since we moved the Masters to Alexandra Palace in 2011, the demand for tickets has grown year on year, to the extent that all standard and premium seats for the 2024 event sold out weeks in advance.

“And rapid sales again this time have led to our decision to add extra seats to bring the total capacity over 2,200. This has become one of the hottest tickets in sport. The overall fan experience at Alexandra Palace is better than ever before and same can be said for the incredible standard and drama on the tables.”

The line-up of the top 16 players will be confirmed at the end of this week’s Victorian Plumbing UK Championship. The draw for the first round at Alexandra Palace will be done this Sunday (December 1st) with the format to be announced shortly afterwards, so be ready to book for your favourite player!
