China's Si Jiahui thrilled his home fans at the Wuhan Open, by making the first 147 of his career during his clash with Judd Trump.

The break came in the fourth frame of his semi-final meeting with world number one Trump. Just two frames earlier Si had already fired in a sublime 144, which to that point was the highest break of the event so far.

It’s the fourth maximum break of the season and the 206th official 147 in professional snooker history. The run puts Si in line to claim the £5,000 high break prize attached to this week’s tournament.
