Gabbie Partington will join the WST team as a presenter and Master of Ceremonies this season, starting at next week’s Unibet British Open.
Gabbie has worked extensively as a presenter, reporter and host in a range of sports, particularly golf where she presents the Aramco Team Series for the Ladies European Tour. She has also worked in football and at the World Darts Championship.
She is now set to go in front of camera on the World Snooker Tour for the first time and will be in Cheltenham for the ITV-televised Unibet British Open from September 23-29, introducing the players into the arena and fronting exclusive behind-the-scenes content for WST’s social media channels.
Gabbie will be working on further events during the season including the BetVictor Northern Ireland Open in Belfast and the Tour Championship in Manchester.
Rob Walker, a familiar face to snooker fans having been Master of Ceremonies at the UK Championship, Masters and World Championship since 2007, will continue to work on those events and will also join us for more tournaments including this week’s BetVictor English Open.
