Snooker's top players were welcomed by hundreds of fans outside the Crucible with a spectacular green carpet event on the eve of the Halo World Championship on Friday.
Seeded players were interviewed on a stage at the top of Tudor Square by Rob Walker, before they met with fans on the green carpet on the way down to the Crucible.
They took part in interviews with journalists and media inside the Crucible to preview the tournament, which starts tomorrow morning and runs until May 5th. The top 16 seeds will be joined by 16 qualifiers to battle for the famous trophy and a top prize of £500,000, watched by a global broadcast audience of 500 million.
