Snooker fans throughout Europe will be able to watch the World Grand Prix live on TNT Sports (UK and Ireland), Eurosport and across Warner Bros. Discovery’s (WBD) streaming platforms, Max* and discovery+** when the tournament takes place in Hong Kong in March.
TNT Sports and discovery+ have secured the rights to the World Grand Prix in the UK, marking the first snooker event to be exclusively broadcast live on TNT Sports.
The event, which features the top 32 players on the one-year ranking list, will be staged in Hong Kong for the first time from March 4th to 9th. WBD’s channels and platforms will provide extensive live coverage as the likes of Judd Trump, Kyren Wilson and many more battle for the title.
Staged at the superb Kai Tak Arena which can host 4,000 fans and with record total prize money of £700,000, this will be the first ranking tournament held in Hong Kong in 35 years.
The cut-off point for qualification is next week's BetVictor Welsh Open, after which the top 32 on the one-year list will earn a place in Hong Kong. The draw and match schedule will be announced soon afterwards.
*Max is available in France, Poland, the Nordics, Iberia, Central and Eastern Europe. In Belgium and the Netherlands, Warner Bros. Discovery’s enhanced streaming service is branded HBO Max.
**discovery+ is the streaming service in Austria, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
