Xu Si made the third 147 of his career during his BetVictor Welsh Open qualifying match against Bulcsu Revesz in Barnsley on Thursday.

The break came in the fourth frame as China's Xu potted 15 red with blacks and cleared the colours to complete the perfect break. That made the score 2-2, and he went on to win 4-2, making a 113 in frame six.

It's Xu's third maximum within 15 months as he made his first at the 2023 UK Championship and second at the International Championship last November. No other player has had three 147s over that period. He becomes the 28th player in snooker history to make three or more official maximums.

It's the 213th 147 in snooker history, 11th of the season and fifth already in 2025. Xu will earn the £5,000 high break prize unless the 147 is matches during the final stages in Llandudno.
