Highfield moves up to third place in the Q Tour Europe rankings, boosting his position ahead of the Play-Off event in Turkey next month.

Stoke's Highfield, a pro for 14 years before dropping off the tour at the end of last season, knocked out the likes of Ryan Davies, Joshua Thomond, Kuldesh Johal and Alex Clenshaw to reach the final.

Breaks of 93, 69 and 59 put him 3-1 ahead, before Welshman Emery fought back with 83 and 87 for 3-3. But Highfield's superb 91 gave him his first Q Tour title.

The draw for the Play-Off event will be announced soon.
