Neil Robertson has won the £150,000 BetVictor Bonus by finishing top of the 2024/25 BetVictor Series rankings.

Luca Brecel was the last player with a chance to deny Robertson the bonus and needed to win the BetVictor Welsh Open, but his defeat against Mark Selby in the semi-finals on Saturday ended his hopes.

The counting events this season were the four BetVictor Home Nations Series tournaments in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Robertson got off to the perfect start by winning the £100,000 top prize in Brentwood, then went on to reach the quarter-finals in Belfast and the last 32 in both Edinburgh and Llandudno. That brought his total to £124,000, and Brecel could have matched that tally by winning the title this week, which would have given him the bonus under the countback rule. However, Brecel's chance ended today.

Australia's Robertson almost won the bonus when it was first on offer in 2020, but Judd Trump pipped him by winning the last event in Gibraltar. Trump went on to capture the bonus in 2021 and 2024, while John Higgins finished top in 2022 followed by Robert Milkins in 2023.
