The Ace in the Pack suffered a disappointing defeat in the semi-finals of the Johnstone's Paint Masters against World Champion Kyren Wilson on Saturday night, but bounced back strongly today.

Trump opened with 3-1 wins over Stuart Bingham and Tom Ford. He then scored an impressive 3-0 win over 2010 Crucible King Neil Robertson, bookended with breaks of 80 and 127.

His last match of the day saw him take on last year's World Championship runner-up Jak Jones. Runs of 70, 112 and 103 saw the Bristolian secure victory and end the day with four wins from four.
