This week's World Grand Prix in Hong Kong is the final lap in the race to qualify for the Sportsbet.io Players Championship, which will run from March 17-23 at Telford International Centre.

Only the top 16 players on the Johnstone's Paint One-Year rankings, as it stands after the final in Hong Kong, will be heading to Telford. Follow the race throughout this week with live updates.

Wednesday 4pm (UK time) update: Superb win for Jimmy Robertson, beating Mark Allen 4-2 from 2-0 down, and that boosts his hopes of a place in Telford. He needs to reach the final to climb into the top 16. Xu Si has the same target and he's still in the hunt thanks to a 4-3 win over Ding Junhui. Tom Ford loses 4-1 to Barry Hawkins so he's out of the race. That result also means Ford is out of the race to the Crucible and will be heading for the qualifiers in Sheffield next month. Jack Lisowski drops out of the race to Telford in sad circumstances as he has withdrawn from the World Grand Prix for personal reasons.

Players just above the cut and those in with a chance are:

14 Mark Allen (out) £163,400
